As you know, Artsmark is the only creative quality standard for schools and education settings, accredited by Arts Council England, supporting settings to develop and celebrate their commitment to arts and cultural education.  Artsmark is for all Schools as well as for Sixth Form Colleges, Pupil Referral Units, Youth Offending Teams and other settings working with children and young people.  In 2015, the programme was refreshed to align with School Improvement Plans and support core EBACC and STEM priorities, giving the curriculum breadth and balance.

For those of you new to the award, the Artsmark Partners Briefing runs from 11am to 1pm.
For those of you keen to kick-start or refresh your work as an Artsmark Partner, the Artsmark Partners Support Session runs from 2pm – 4pm.
You may attend both sessions, but will need to have attended an Artsmark Partners Briefing.

ARTSMARK PARTNERS BRIEFING
Monday 25th November 2019
11am – 1pm
Theatre Royal, Brighton  BN1 1SD

The Artsmark Partnership Programme is an Arts Council England endorsed network of organisations who are devoted to bringing great arts and cultural opportunities to children and young people. Artsmark Partners support Artsmark registered schools and other educational settings on their journey to embed arts and culture across the curriculum. The programme was developed in consultation with the education and cultural sectors.

To become an Artsmark Partner, organisations must adhere to a Code of Practice - renewed annually - and must also attend an Artsmark Partnership Programme Briefing. Click here to find out more about the Artsmark Partnership Programme

This Artsmark Partnership Programme briefing will give you a thorough overview of the Artsmark process and support you to start mapping your offer to it. Click here to find out more about Artsmark https://artswork.org.uk/programmes/artsmark/

Please note places on this briefing are limited to a maximum of 2 tickets per organisation. This briefing is followed by an Artsmark Partner Support Workshop (2:00pm-4:00pm) in the afternoon at the Theatre Royal, which you are welcome to attend. Please book via this Eventbrite page if you wish to attend the briefing, even if you have previously indicated you will be attending the Artsmark Partner Support Workshop.

ARTSMARK PARTNER SUPPORT WORKSHOP
Monday 25th November 2019
2pm – 4pm
Theatre Royal, Brighton  BN1 1SD

Artsmark Partners support education settings on their Artsmark journey to embed creativity across all levels of the curriculum. Becoming an Artsmark Partner is a great way for your organisation to develop your work with children and young people and build long-term relationships with education settings.

Building on learning from the Artsmark Partnership Programme briefing*, this practical and informative session will kickstart your work as Artsmark Partner. Using creative and practical techniques, you will leave with the tools to build a ready-to-go support offer that responds to the needs of schools and education settings on their Artsmark journey.

Please note places on this workshop are limited to one booking per organisation.
*Organisations need to have already attended an Artsmark Partnership Programme briefing before this workshop; there is one taking place on the same day as this workshop, in the morning (11.00am-1:00pm) at the Theatre Royal - booking information below. If you’re interested in becoming an Artsmark Partner, see our website for more information on upcoming briefings.
