Telling it as they see it…these tracks blend original music with a range of opinions expressed on subjects close to the hearts of young people from Robertsbridge village in East Sussex.
Speak Out is about giving young people a platform for their views and opinions. No constraints, no boundaries, just saying what they think about the world and their place in it.
HRAEN need to hear, and more importantly to listen, if we hope to have a conversation with our local young people and in turn be able to offer them anything relevant to their lives.
Ownership of this project belongs to the young people themselves and supported by numerous partners namely: Robertsbridge Community College, Robertsbridge Arts Partnership, Rother District Council, Audio Active and delivered by Hillary Watkins of East Sussex County Council Youth Work, musician Jack Kingslake and performance poet Tommy Sissons.
