Niall Whitehead - Steering Group
Head of Performing Arts at Ark Alexandra Academy, also Youth Theatre Director at the Stables Theatre in Hastings, Old Town. Niall is an inspirational teacher and is our man in the know for all things Shakespeare. He also works with local schools encouraging greater take up of the Artsmark scheme and recently ran the Youth Arts Festival for HRAEN. |

Tessa Courtney Bennett - Steering Group
I am the Year 5 Teacher and Arts and Global Learning Coordinator at Sacred Heart Primary School, Hastings. I work to ensure art is a priority in school and that all children have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the arts, exhibit their work and feel a sense of achievement in their learning. We also work with other schools and organisations around local artists and to increase the children's cultural capital. |
