Work Experience Opportunities for 14-16 year olds.
This year Hastings Pier Charity are offering 3 work experience weeks from 20th – 27th March 2017 / 5th – 7th July 2017 / 10th – 14th July 2017.
They are scheduled on the lead up to and during events that the Learning and Education team are organising for the Pier.
Yarn Bombing: 20th – 27th March 2017
Please see attached information on the Yarn Bombing Project we are organising for March 2017, and how your students can get involved.
Young People’s Music Festival: 5th – 7th July 2017 / 10th – 14th July 2017
We are looking for bright, enthusiastic students to help the Learning and Education, and YPMF team with the final push on the lead up to the festival weekend on Saturday 15th July. They’ll help on all aspects of setting up the festival, and is a chance for them to see and experience ‘behind the scenes’ in the preparation that goes into organising a music festival.
There are 2-3 spaces available per week.
Please contact the Education and Volunteers Organiser, Yaz Norris, for more information by either responding to this email or by calling 01424 445566. Application forms can either be obtained through Yaz, or by downloading from our website.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
