Artsmark – Inspiring young people through the arts and culture.
The new Artsmark award has now been launched by Arts Council England. Designed by schools, the award will help schools deliver a high quality arts and cultural education – and provide an excellent way for them to demonstrate their commitment to this. Artsmark can help unlock the potential of children and young people, help to develop character and talent, and increase their knowledge and understanding. That’s why Artsmark was created: to bring this ambition to life in every classroom. Across the country Artsmark is rewarding more and more schools for championing arts and culture. Any school, college or youth justice setting can apply. Artsmark schools gain access to exceptional resources as well as networks of the country’s most treasured cultural organisations, helping them develop and strengthen their arts provision. How do I register for the new Artsmark and/or book my place on an Artsmark Development Day? Click here To find out more about the new Artsmark click here. If you have any questions about your own school and how Artsmark can benefit you, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Artsmark Team on 02380 332 491. To mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, we are inviting every UK school to join RSC Dream Team 2016 and take part in a nationwide celebration of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Whether you weave lines from the play into a lesson, create an Athenian wood in your playground or put on a full production, every school can get involved. Join RSC Dream Team today and download FREE resources including:
Download the resources before 31 October 2015 and tell us how you would like to celebrate A Midsummer Night’s Dream in your school for a chance to receive one of 400 commemorative hard copies of the Playmaking Pack.
