The Young Theatre Promoters is a project that came out of the 2014 -15 HRAEN programme and is still going strong. The YTP's are a group of drama students from Robertsbridge Community College learning the ropes about event promotion by getting out there and doing it. So for their next show look out for:
Gentlemen of Few on the 18th March 2016 A five piece ‘Nu-Grass’ band, who fuse bluegrass, folk and soft rock. Hailing from south east Kent, they have been performing together for just four years and have already been nominated for Radio 2’s Young Folk Award. Their set is a mixture of originals and covers played on guitar, banjo, piano, bass and trumpet and their unique sound is an enjoyable blend of melodic vocals, and passionate, foot-stompin’ bluegrass and folk. The band are storming their way around England performing to thousands of people at gigs and festivals and appearing on radio shows such as The Chris Evans Breakfast Show. Tickets are FREE to RCC students (but limited in number)If you are not lucky enought to be studying at Robertsbridge Community College then tickets are:... £7 full price and £4 concessions and can be purchsed from [email protected] To get tickets see their Facebook page. |
