Theatre is a big business. It’s the biggest entertainment industry in the UK, and it’s not the only place where people go to see a play on stage. In fact, as of 2015, over half of the UK population had a “passion for plays”. But it’s not just the big names who are getting into the game. There are a lot of smaller theatres that produce small scale productions. Rather than putting together the entire play, these theatres may decide to produce a single show instead.
